Extensive and practical knowledge of curriculum needs; moving from the ‘orbital’ place in the organisation into its indispensible heart; maintaining high respect for traditional values of Librarianship but enriching provision with forward thinking, innovation and brave decisions against all odds
Outside interests: I would travel across the world to see a good theatrical performance like ‘Waiting for Godot’ with Patrick Stuart and Ian McKellen or Krapp’s last tape with John Hart. I love old things with ‘history attached’, especially Victorian amateur watercolours
